A wholly-owned subsidiary of Century Textiles and Industries Limited, Birla Estates Private Limited is a flagship Company of the B. K. Birla Group of Companies with a presence in textiles, rayon yarn, pulp & paper, salt, chemicals and more. Birla Estates will develop many of the group's land parcels as well as look into collaborative development/strategic tie-ups in major cities.

In 2016, Century Textiles created Birla Estates as its real estate business vertical, with a substantial land bank softening the price impact and making it more appealing given the high cost of land in the cities it is focusing on: Mumbai and its suburbs, Delhi-NCR, Bengaluru, and Pune.
